Dr. A. Biju Kumar (External Scientist)
Being an FML external scientist, Dr. Bijukumar provides scientific advice, taxonomical analysis and other related interventions.
Mr. Robert Panipilla (Citizen Marine Scientist and Indigenous Marine Knowledge Expert, President – FML)
Belongs to an Indigenous mukkuva community and is an artisanal fishing family member with more than 35 years experience of social work in the fishing community including that as a citizen researcher. He is the founder of FML and represents FML for regional, national and international dialogs. He is the author of KADALARIVUKALUM NERANUBHAVANGALUM in Malayalam and it was also translated in English.
Dr. Johnson Jament (Educationist and IPBES Contributing Author on Marine and Fisheries Issues)
Ms. Lisba Yesudas (Coastal Language Expert)
Dr. D. Sherly (Zoology and Fisheries Expert)
Works as a Zoology Professor in a coastal women’s college. Belongs to an Indigenous Mukkuva community. She was a well-wisher of FML for quite a long time and recently joined as a programme team member of FML.
Mr. Shrinivaasu S. (Marine Biologist, Executive Member – FML)
Marine Biologist and the leader of FML’s Scuba diving team – Under his leadership FML documented Seabed ecosystems directly related to fishermen’s livelihood up to 43 meter depth including two sunken ship areas. Since 2012 he is actively involved in FML’s research works and is now part of our Executive Committee.
Ms. Aneesha Ani Benadict (Junior Marine Scientist)
Belongs to an Indigenous mukkuva community and is an artisanal fishing family member. She is doing her final semester MSc in Marine Biology and Ocean Study in a National University in Andaman and Nicobar. She was selected for the DARWIN SCHOLARSHIP in 2016, worked as a Project Assistant in the People’s Marine Biodiversity Preparation Project. Since 2012 she has been an active member of FML , and is now part of the Executive Committee.

Belongs to an Indigenous mukkuva community and is an artisanal fishing family member. He has been contributing his service as a marine conservationist in various activities of FML and an organizer of Ocean Literacy programs. Also, he is good at snorkeling.
